THE PEOPLE ► EWCP advisory bodies

Three multi-disciplinary groups review the progress and provide advise to the EWCP:

• the Ethiopian Wolf Conservation Committee meets regularly in Ethiopia to address special biological and logistic needs

• the EWCP Coordination Group which includes sponsors and scientists, meets in Oxford to discuss strategy, funding issues and provide overall institutional guidance to the programme, seeking better linkage between field team and overseas partners and donors

• the IUCN/SSC Canid Specialist Group provides expert advise when requested via its Ethiopian Wolf Working Group
